In his spare time, Ken designed and crafted this beautiful pair of nightstands, his Michigan cabinets as he calls them, for his home in Auckland, New Zealand. Built from wood he purchased in Michigan and brought back during his move back home.  Ken reports the tops are made from Leopard Wood, the legs are framing from Meranti he had left over after finishing some runabout driveline casting patterns.  The doors are Birds Eye Maple and the sides are Cherry Veneer.  Ken cast the handles in resin infused with glow in the dark powder and then machined them to his design.  Its all very cool and, as always, his work is beautiful.
